2024: A Year of Growth, Partnerships and Innovation for IBSA USA

2024 has been an exceptional year for IBSA USA, marked by exciting product launches, partnerships and continued commitment to innovation. 

Throughout the year, IBSA USA's initiatives and accomplishments reflected the core pillars of its parent company, IBSA: Person, Innovation, Quality and Responsibility. These guiding values continue to shape our journey of growth; ensuring that IBSA USA remains steadfast in its mission to improve the lives of patients through innovative solutions. 
 

Growing Stronger Together

During the first quarter of 2024, IBSA USA came together in Puerto Rico for the 2024 National Sales Meeting under the theme "Growing Stronger Together." The meeting was built around the objectives of fostering a growth mindset, driving innovation & expertise and building a culture of collaboration. Engaging presentations from IBSA executives and experts in thyroid health, along with a celebration of team achievements, set the tone for an exciting path forward.

Driving Business Forward

Throughout 2024, the sales team maintained a strategic focus on key brands in our therapeutic areas of focus -- endocrinology and pain management. By embodying IBSA USA's commitment to being 1% better each day, the team has successfully advanced our family of products for patients. 
The sales team's dedication to delivering excellence continues to propel the business forward; ensuring patients receive the trusted therapy they need.

Expanding Innovation: Launching IBSA Care Dietary Supplements

Shortly after the National Sales Meeting, IBSA USA demonstrated its commitment to Innovation and Quality with a pivotal entrance into the U.S. dietary supplements market, and just four months later, expanded the IBSA Care line with three additional products, all of which contain vital micronutrients for thyroid support.* As Michael Scully, Head of Commercial Operations at IBSA USA, shared, “These new offerings embody our mission to deliver high-quality, science-backed solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers.”

Sailing into the Future. Together.

A high point of the year took place in May when the IBSA-sponsored Sailing into the Future. Together initiative sailed into the United States for the first time. Members of IBSA USA were honored to greet world champion skipper, Alberto Bona, aboard the Class40 IBSA at the finish line of the Transat CIC, a challenging 3,000-mile transoceanic race that began in France and ended in New York City.  The team was honored to then host Alberto Bona, his crew and European colleagues at its home office in Parsippany, New Jersey. IBSA USA is proud to champion Sailing into the Future. Together, a program that emphasizes the importance of innovation, sustainability, responsibility and resilience through the sport of sailing, and marked the occasion with a charitable donation to Newport, RI-based Sail To Prevail – an organization that helps more than 1,500 children and adults overcome adversity through the sport of sailing each year.

Building Strategic Partnerships in 2024

IBSA USA’s sales, marketing and medical teams strengthened their footprints in 2024, by participating in eight national conferences, to showcase the Company's products for pain and endocrinology. These events were invaluable opportunities to share clinical data with clinicians and researchers from around the world. Notable conferences included the American Thyroid Association (ATA) Annual Meeting, PAINWeek Conference, and ENDO EXPO. 

Another highlight of the year was the development of strategic partnerships with two professional athletes. In August, IBSA USA teamed up with, Professional Pickleball Association player, James Ignatowich. As pickleball – America's fastest-growing sport – continues to gain popularity, this collaboration aligns with IBSA USA’s commitment to expanding our pain management portfolio to reach the athletic community--particularly as the sport sees an increase in injuries related to muscle strains and sprains. 

IBSA USA also continued its partnership with Aza Muñoz, professional golfer, to raise awareness of thyroid disease, common symptoms and treatment options. As both a patient and spokesperson, Muñoz will continue to represent IBSA USA’s products through inspiring in-person events, videos and social media campaigns.

Fostering a Culture of Excellence

At the heart of IBSA USA’s success, is its people. IBSA prioritizes the Person and fosters a supportive and collaborative culture for its employees. Through comprehensive programs such as Initial Sales Training, Advanced Sales Training and Plan of Action meetings, IBSA USA empowered its team with the skills to excel. These programs brought together teams from across regions, fostering cross-regional collaboration, skill-building and underscoring its shared guiding principle: “strive to be 1% better each day.” 

Through training, team-building and development programs, IBSA USA fosters an environment where employees feel valued and inspired to contribute to IBSA’s mission.
